There are four cottages nestled in the trees and each one overlooks the lake. Cottages are 2 bedroom and fully self-contained with everything you will need. Accommodation is ideally suited to both couples and families.
Cottage 1 – “Shannon”: 1 queen and 1 double bed
Cottage 2 - “Gloucester”: 1 queen and 3 single beds
Cottage 3 – “Warren”: 1 queen and 3 single beds
Cottage 4 – “Beedelup”: 1 queen and 3 single beds
Cosy wood fires keep the chalets amazingly warm, and as the rammed earth walls heat up, the warmth is retained inside. In the warmer months the thick earth walls keep you cool by insulating you from the temperature outside.
Your Chalet:
All beds are made up for you with fresh linens, doonas and towels. Leather lounges situated by the main window in the living area allow you to enjoy the spectacular views while you relax comfortably by the wood fire. In the winter months, chopped firewood is delivered to your door each afternoon, compliments of the house!
Outside: Enjoy a Barbeque (charcoal bbq) on your private verandah and relax while the kids play happily right in front of your chalet. Watch them enjoy the wide open grassy area and run around to their hearts content. The wild ducks are friendly and often come to visit, and you can hand feed them if you choose.
Kitchen:
Stove top cooking facilities plus microwave and all pots, pans, crockery and utensils are provided so you can easily prepare your own meals if you choose. If you prefer to eat out there are a number of choices you can find on our dining out page.
Playground:
A playground is located on the opposite side of the lake. Take a stroll around the side of the lake and let the kids burn off some more energy. By the time they’ve enjoyed a full day here they’ll drop off to sleep at night without a fuss.
The Lavender and Berry Farm is only 4km out of town so you have the convenience of everything we offer, plus you can also easily access services you require like petrol, groceries and last minute items. All of the attractions and things to do in Pemberton are within easy reach of the property.
The Free Breakfast Basket Special: The basket is brought to your cottage each afternoon ready for you for the following morning. Each adult in your booking receives:
2 eggs, cereal, milk, portion of home-made berry jam, butter, 2 slices of bread for toast, and tea/coffee is already provided in the chalet. Children included in your booking receive the same except only one egg. Infants staying free of charge are not included in the breakfast offer (jam is not good for babies!)
