The event will be held on the weekend of 26th and 27th of May this year. Saturday’s program is racing through country road circuits. The exact route for the event can be seen on the map at the bottom of this page.

One of the spectator highlights of the weekend is the road circuit that runs through the streets of Pemberton on Sunday morning. The atmosphere of excitement fills the town as locals gather on their front verandahs for an up close and personal view of the event and visitors gather at key locations around the streets.

If you aren’t familiar with the King Trout Farm, they offered trout fishing amongst a network of lakes on their beautiful scenic property about 5 km south of town. (It’s less than a 10 minute drive from the Lavender and Berry Farm).

They also have a cafe with a wonderful view over the property where you could have your fresh catch cooked for you and they also offered a selection of lunches.

It’s a great attraction and was particularly popular for families.

I’m not sure if they guaranteed that you’d catch a fish but for our experience it would be almost impossible to leave empty handed. I know it’s the most successful fishing I’ve ever done. Our son caught his first fish here too.

It will be fantastic to have such a great attraction back in town again. We look forward to meeting the new hosts!
